Friday, December 6th
It all starts Friday DECEMBER 6th with the following festivities: Tree lighting at the Post Office Park (6:00pm), Lt. Gov. Brad Owen will light the tree to begin the festivities, followed by over 100 singers leading you in song. Harstine Island Community Choir, who organizes the music for Holiday Magic each year, has invited choirs from various local schools to join them. The combined youth choirs of Evergreen Elementary (director Janis Salzer), Olympic Middle School (Patty Thornton), Bordeaux Elementary (Marni Zorn), and Mt. View Elementary (Suzanne Montgomery and Pioneer Middle School (Susan Casey) join with Harstine Island Community Choir to perform rousing holiday songs to sing Santa into Christmas Town, USA. Then, don't miss the Marshmallow Roasting, Wagon Rides, Santa and Mrs. Claus, Kiddie Train Rides, Art, Entertainment, Games with great prizes and more!
Saturday, December 7th
Saturday December 7th the game card continues, many businesses open for shopping, the “Missile Toe” Mile run begins at 4 pm and at 5 pm the CHRISTMAS PARADE, sponsored by the Kristmas Town Kiwanis, Little Creek Resort and Casino and Peninsula Credit Union. A favorite among many Sheltonites, the Christmas Parade is as “home town” as it gets, don’t miss out!
